
Bar Haimov
Music Director
Bar Haimov is a New York based conductor, musicologist and violist. In recent years, Mr. Haimov has performed with various chamber and symphonic ensembles at venues such as the Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington DC, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, and Carnegie Hall. In his dedication to ensuring traditions be passed to future generations of musicians, Bar has also served as a music educator and chamber coach at various institutions throughout the tri-state area.
Haimov’s research focuses on the first Viennese school and its connection to Italian and French opera, and it is this repertory that he is also most passionate about as a performer. An inquiry into lesser known composers of the galant and classical eras are likewise at the forefront of Mr. Haimov’s studies.
With a passion for furthering the cultural presence of classical music, Bar Haimov is the founding music director of Kollective366. In this role, he has presented music ranging from the 12th to the 21st centuries.
